Getting ready to start working and releasing DI previews next week...
Thought that is weighing very heavily and going back and forth on...
Kent State or Bowling Green?!?
The two are 1-2 or 2-1 in the MAC East, hard to go one way or the other right now.
Will Ohio and Akron put up a fight? Is Miami coming around the corner?

Just thought I'd throw my two cents in,
Bowling Green will not win the MAC East this season, unless the defense can really step it up. They're averaging 2.15 errors a game compared to Akrons 1.43 and Kent State's 1.12 errors per game.
Bowling Green's series against Eastern Michigan this weekend is going to say a lot about how the team is this year. I honestly don't know much about KSU's team but from the looks of it as of right now either them or Akron are going to end up being the teams to beat.

Yeah on paper and in the offseason BG was to be up there. So far things have not shaken out.
I wouldn't be too concerned about the errors as much as I would be the less than stellar player of Brennan Smith and Derek Spencer. Both who were coming off great 2009 seasons, were to be the force behind BG's third MAC-East crown, on their way to the MLB draft.
Yeah hasn't happened according to plan.
Right now I'd have the MAC-E as
Akron KSU BG Miami Buffalo Ohio

Pitching has also been a problem for BG, I've just witnessed BG's two best (only reliable) relievers blow games in back to back days up here in Ypsi. It's looking pretty rough for Schmitz and the gang.
I think at this point I'd rank the MAC East as,
Akron KSU Miami BG Buffalo Ohio
The only reason I'd put Miami above BG at this point is because I just did a post about defense and BG is just so brutal it hurts right now. Although they have been playing better defense this weekend.
