Well teams have played their frist 10 or so games... what are the thoughts out there?
Think some of the pleasant surprises have been Akron, Toledo, and Cincinnati playing well.
Ohio State is doing it with smoke and mirrors which was about expected.
Kent State stubbed their toe a bit but ha snothing to hang their head about.
Unfortunately for the other top teams things haven't gone so well. Xavier and Dayton are struggling much more than expected.
Wright State and Bowling Green have had brutal schedules, but a couple of wins here or there in the close games probably should have gone their way. Competing against the very good teams is great, just taking the next step now is needed.
Some players that have been on fire... Dayton's Zach Jacob, Miami's Adam Eaton, OSU's Michael Stephens, Ohio's Robert Maddox, are a few that have been pretty good.
Pitching wise, Wimmers and Kaminsky have done what is expected. Akron's Ben Dangizer though might be the most impressive so far.
Other thoughts?
