Now that the Mid American Conference's regular season is over.
Who are the favorites to win the tournament and why? Will it be the overall regular season champion Central Michigan? Will it be the team who led the West almost the entire season in Ball State? Will it be Kent State the MAC East Co-Champion? Will it be the hottest team in the MAC right now in Bowling Green State? Or will it be a dark horse, like Toledo?
Obviously all of the teams have their strengths and weaknesses, but when it comes to a tournament like this, I think the teams that are the hottest right now have the best shot at winning a tournament like this. I like Bowling Green and Kent State in the finals. It will be key for BGSU to beat BSU in the first game of the tournament though, especially after they were beaten by 20+ runs about a month ago.
Anyone else have any thoughts? I'm excited to watch this year's tournament!

It's going to be a dogfight.
No idea who comes out on top. A very solid group of 5 teams, then you can't count out Miami, Ohio, or EMU to sneak up and grab a game or two.
Bowling Green is on a serious roll after starting 3-6 in conference play. Kent State is Kent State. Ball State has the talent to play with anyone. Toledo is probably the most balanced. Then CMU goes out and wins the MAC altogether.
It's going to be fun in Chilli.
I guess I'd go with Toledo at this point.
