Championship Saturday!
Koehl (HEID) vs Williams (MAR)
Marietta is looking to end it in 9 innings, while the Berg hopes to have a long day. Should be a good day for the OAC!

Just when HEID started getting a little momentum, Lowe came in the game and got rocked....MAR extends their lead to 7-1 heading to the bottom of the 7th.
Anyone else think Lowe is a little worn out, or slightly overused? Especially after last night's pointless inning of work.
ON the other side of the matchup, Williams has been outstanding for Marietta, giving the Big 3 another great outing.

Marietta - OAC Champs!
doesn't get much better than their starting rotation.
Gasser (vs. JCU) – 9 IP, 4 hits, 1 run, 0 bb’s, 8 k’s Blaski (vs. #9 Heidelberg) – 9 IP, 2 hits, 0 runs, 4 bb’s, 3 k’s Williams (vs. #9 Heidelberg) - 7 IP, 3 hits, 1 run, 2 bb’s, 5 k’s
John Snyder wins the OAC Tournament MVP...the first of many awards coming his way this year.

The Etta Express dominated from wire to wire. They are statistically as dominant a staff as I can remember. Team ERA well below 2.00, team OBA comfortably below .200? That's just insane. They're primed for a deep run this year unless something unforeseen comes up. That staff will keep them in every game and they have the depth to just keep coming.
Congrats to Snyder. I'm sure the OAC POY is coming up Monday (or at least it should be).

Big win for the Express today. Nice to get the OAC crowns back where they belong. Gasser, Blaski and Williams were absolutely lights out. Hopefully this train will roll on in the regionals. Excited for them to get kicked off Wed. Be nice if Etta gets the 7 team regional, they certainly have earned it

A tip of Gramps hat to the Etta Express on winning both the OAC season and the OAC Tournament. See you in the Regionals.
GO BERG!!!!
