Will Malone be there or ODU. MVNU should be strong and Walsh U. only graduated 2 starting senoirs.

What did Shawnee State lose?
Is Cedarville usually in the mix?

Will Malone be there or ODU. MVNU should be strong and Walsh U. only graduated 2 starting senoirs. This coming year will be a good test to see where Malone is at as a program. They're coming off an AMC title, but losing the dominant 1-2 of Boudler and Campitella (a combined 20-3 last yr) as well as replacing AMC POY Scott McIlvain at SS. Those are some big holes to fill. MVNU looks like they have a very solid core returning. Walsh should be better, but I'm not sure if they're quite there yet. If the young guys continue developing they very well could be though. And isn't ODU officially gone now? I thought they were in the GLIAC starting this spring?

With these schools transitioning from NAIA to DII it's confusing. Are they still NAIA? Are they probational DII? Are they officially DII? I only knew that about ODU because I was just on their site the other day and saw the GLIAC logo!

It's a story/feature we're working on. The NAIA/DII changes have quite a few programs influx.

But you have to go with Malone as the favorite until someone knocks them off correct?
Is their lofty ranking by College Baseball News justified?

Shawnee lost their 2,3 and 4 hitters. Their 2 hitter also did some quality relief. There are a lot of question marks with Shawnee.
